About the Book:

Letter-writing works the mind and provides a sense of intimacy not attained through face-to-face conversations. In an era of continuously advancing technology and access to instant information, letters serve as a platform that ventures and delves towards building a connection between the writer and the recipient.

Love, Liy is a compilation of letters that were inspired by Liyana's weekly e-letters named #loveliyletters. It is a safe space where she share reflections, be vulnerable, and able to express herself freely.

Written like journal entries, these letters serves as a bridge to connect Liyana to her readers.

About the Author:

Nurliyana Rahmat (also known as Liy) is a Singaporean author who left her corporate life at SIA Engineering in search of greater meanings in life. As she heals her way through God's Love and Light, she discovered her passion in writing and birthed her first book, Healing Carefulliy in 2019.

Being a skywatcher as she is, she tends to reflect and contemplate on the nature of things and connect them to God's purpose. Hence, she took to writing weekly Loveliy Letters on an email subscription platform. There, she connected with souls alike through their email replies and responses.

In 2018, Liy initiated From Heart to Hearts to empower women and cultivate sisterhood. She hopes to allow sisters to know that they are not alone in their struggles and that there is always a support system for them to rely on through the events which Liy and her team organise at least once a month.

When Liy is not writing or organising events, you'll find her buried under the mountain of books she borrowed from the National Library despite still having the ones she bought but have yet to read or you'll find her thrifty-self scrolling for anything and everything that she needs through Shopee and qualifying herself as a paid Shopee Ambassador. Liy also writes book reviews on the books she's read on her bookstagram account @totesintobooks.
